An inspiring new beginning for Five Star Magazine.
Five Star Magazine is an award winning innovative publication about luxury hotels and travel. It was first published in 2010 as a collector's publication in the shape of a stylish coffee table book.
Then in 2014, their digital magazine was launched which included weekly articles about luxury and ultra-luxury travel. They are unique in that they have strict guidelines in place to ensure you read about hotels and travel experiences that have each been tried and tested. If you read an article, then it is a personal recommendation.
Five Star Magazine took 6 months to choose the design agency that would look after the re-launch of their website. Speaking about the process, they said:
"We wanted to make sure that the team who looked after our website would understand the brand and the importance of creating something unique with a strong luxury feel to it."
Given the exclusivity of the publication, we knew instinctively that the website Five Star Magazine needed must portray the same air in its look and feel. So, we developed a new brand logo which was modern and timeless in execution. The red, gold and dark grey colours selected are modern in appearance and simultaneously portray a sense of quality and trust.
