What is retargeting & why is it important?

Two percent of visitors will make a purchase on their first visit to your website. But what about that other 98% who move on?

Retargeting (or remarketing) is a way to reach this audience, the other 98%, who have visited your site previously but not made a purchase.

Using a wide range of techniques and strategies, we are able to reach this audience again by dynamic 'retargeting' (or remarketing) to them.

How does this work? Well, the key is to set up certain scenarios and market to the visitor according to their behaviour.

For example, if a person visits your site and goes to look at your wine tours, but doesn't make a purchase, we can retarget that person meaning they will see an advert of your wine tour when they visit another site or even a social media page such as Facebook.

It's such an important digital marketing strategy as it is reaching out to people who have already engaged with your brand (your existing site visitors) - and are therefore more likely to make a purchase.
